We've partnered up with GameAgent again this week to offer MacRumors readers a 25 percent discount on Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Since it just launched in October, Pre-Sequel hasn't seen many discounts yet, making this a fantastic deal if you've been waiting for a sale before buying.

With the discount, MacRumors readers can get Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for Mac for $44.99, instead of $59.99. Clicking the following link will put the game directly in your GameAgent cart at the discounted price. The discount will be available for 24 hours.

MacRumors readers who are also GameAgent members can also get the recently released DLC Handsome Jack Pack for 20 percent off through GameAgent.com.

As for Macs and iPads, there are a limited number of deals this week, but retailers are continuing to offer older iPad Air and iPad mini 2 models at decent discounts. There have also been some recent price drops on remaining stock of the 2013 Retina MacBook Pros, and we have a selection of discounts on Apple accessories as well. As we head into Black Friday and the holiday season, expect to see some deeper discounts on Apple products.

The 27-inch 3.5GHz/8GB/1TB iMac with 5K Retina display is available from Amazon, Adorama, B&H Photo, and MacMall for $2,449, which is a discount of $50 off Apple's regular price.

Those iPhone 6 users buying an extended battery should of just got the iPhone 6 plus.

Adding girth and weight sounds to rival the iPhone 6 plus doesn't sound very well thought out
It's not too strange. I prefer having to put the extended battery in my car or something so I don't have to worry about carrying around a phone the size of the iPhone 6 Plus with me all the time. Also, I don't have to worry if the built-in battery runs out. And besides, at least the iPhone 6 + extended battery will fit into my pocket unlike the iPhone 6 Plus

Borderlands is NOT worth $60.

It's not even worth $45.

At most, I'd say it might be worth $30. It basically plays like a glorified DLC for Borderlands 2, made by a studio who doesn't quite get the original games (so it's basically "more borderlands", but it's not on the same level as the first two).

The story is pretty shallow and the gameplay is horribly repetitive (shoot the same NPC model over and over and over again). It isn't even much of a sandbox because you're stuck on the surface of a moon, and there's no atmosphere, and your air slowly runs out (so you have to recharge it often). Which means you can't just run around like you could in BL/BL2.

If you haven't played BL2, I'd highly recommend you play that one first. Hell, BL1 is pretty good and the Knoxx DLC was amazing. If you can get through all that and still say "I WANT MOAR", then I guess BL:PS might be worth buying, but not at full (or nearly full) pop.
