I can't understand why any of the "air" line exists. the name is meaningless these days. I don't even remember what the Dif between this and the other cheap iPad is but they both work with the Pen and the other is cheaper....

This is actually a pretty good deal.
If I recall, similar prices were available before Xmas. Costco, Amazon and Best Buy had the 64GB Air for 399.99.

FWIW, I have been really tempted to get this. But the 1st Gen Pencil had me hesitating. Since I have a solid iPad Air 2, I will just wait for a refresh (hopefully in March).
