I mean, just because it’s not useful for you doesn’t mean it doesn’t serve a purpose for others.

This is fantastic for my Mom who uses her keyboard and trackpad in her lap, and this would keep them together securely, where as now she’s always fighting the trackpad falling off to one side or the other.

Also TwelveSouth’s BookArcs have been invaluable for years as the simplest vertical docking tool for MacBooks that I’ve found.
Well... a $1 wooden ruler with 50c of dual tape would serve there well, oh and will leave some cash for nice bucket for your mom. This would go long way.

I find it a bit strange affiliation of MacRumors with companies offering a questionable practicality ridiculously overpriced products. But thank you for allowing to gain totally new perspective on a meaning of term "consumerism society". MacBridge? For how much? Measuring hours for a minimum wage employment it is 3h of life for something that serve no purpose and replaces pushing keyboard and a trackpad together? This product is requiem for the humanity.

"Home Office Sale". I think they're going with the theme of things you might/can use while staying at home, during the current troubling times. The Plug Bug series is somewhat focused on travel, especially with the variety of region-specific AC plugs it includes.

If you’re looking for the cheapest, ugliest solution to this problem, you are unlikely to be using a Mac.
