They're pretty legit -- you can look up videos on YouTube to see demonstrations. That said, from what I understand, the ghosting is pretty common on MacBook Pros over the past several years, and most people didn't notice at all. It was there; it just didn't bother most people.

Re: the Space Grey being cheaper, that drove me nuts too! I went ahead and placed an order for the silver anyhow, on Amazon, but it won't ship. It's been on hold (shipment-wise) for a few days now. I totally understand this given what's going on in the country (prioritizing essential goods over non-essential) but I'm wondering if I should cancel my order from Amazon, and order from B&H instead, who seems to be shipping.

In excellent, like-new condition, with the same 1-year warranty as well as the ability to add AppleCare+ within 60 days. You also get the same 14-day return window if you don't like it. The $2,099 is for the base model in both space gray and silver. And you can get it as soon as the next day if you're willing to part with an additional $8.
