Apple Shares 'Ted Lasso' Animated Christmas Short

Apple today shared a Christmas-themed "Ted Lasso" short featuring animated versions of popular characters like Roy Kent, Rebecca Welton, Leslie Higgins, Jamie Tartt, Keeley Jones, and Ted Lasso himself.

Called "The Missing Christmas Mustache," the short is voiced by "Ted Lasso" actors and it features a humorous storyline where Ted Lasso's mustache goes missing.

"Ted Lasso" is one of Apple's most popular TV shows to date, and it has won a number of awards. Two seasons have aired so far, and the series has been renewed for a third season, which could be its last.

Ted Lasso just looks like a TV show made specifically for Tim Cook to watch.

I’m sorry, but like Season 2, I didn’t find this enjoyable or endearing at all.

Wait, season 3 could be the last!?!? Not cool......
I rather they keep it short and sweet instead of dragging it out and let the writing suffer.

I liked season one but something changed in the second season. Was unbearable to watch half the time.
Two main issues:
1. Ted went from being the odd, clever-wise outsider from Season 1 to a sometimes manic, sometimes depressed, self-doubter in Season 2.
2. Season 2 was missing the clear, overarching problems/goals/wants of Season 1 that carried through every episode: Will Ted fit in and be accepted? Will he find out his boss's true motivation for hiring him? Will he be able to keep the team from tearing itself apart (Roy & Jamie) and help them get to the next level.

Season 2 had some great individual episodes, and some nice character moments for the ensemble, but overall it lacked the cohesiveness of the first season, and didn't have the calm ebullience of the central character to keep things moving and keep the energy up.

I think Roy Kent is my favorite purveyor of the F-bomb. The guy's an artist with it. 😂
