The update adds Security Keys for the Apple ID, allowing for physical two-factor authentication, which offers more protection against phishing and unauthorized account access. The update also rolls out Advanced Data Protection for iCloud to all users globally.

macOS Ventura 13.2 also fixes a bug with Freeform and addresses an issue that could cause VoiceOver to stop offering audio feedback when typing. Apple's release notes for the update are below.

This update introduces Security Keys for Apple ID, and includes other enhancements and bug fixes for your Mac.

- Security Keys for Apple ID allow users to strengthen the security of their account by requiring a physical security key to sign in
- Fixes an issue in Freeform where some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards
- Fixes an issue where VoiceOver may stop offering audio feedback while you are typing

MacOS 13.2 was more of some fixes and provided support for the 2023 Macs just released. I only had very minor software issues with this beta cycle using a M1 24" iMac and a 16" M1 Max MBP, I currently don't have anything that is a problem still.

This should be the release that gets me to upgrade from Monterey, unless there's something major.
13.1 is a nest of bugs. Let's see what's it's been fixed in this release, but I wouldn't be very optimistic
This has been the first time I update macOS before the .4/.5 release and it has been a big mistake

MacOS 13.2 Update just completely F'd my Safari Bookmarks! I just ran the update, opened Safari and found literally thousands of bookmarks and bookmark folders are all out of order. And not only recently added bookmarks, but links that have been set (unchanged order) in folders for years are are suddenly in random chaos order. WTF Apple!!

Oh boy, I hope it fixes the issue with pasting a URL to a PDF in Mac mail. Mine is currently automatically deleting the URL and inserting an attachment of the PDF (which, first of all, is never going to be what I want to happen), but then it only attaches the 1st page of the PDF.

So it basically confuses the recipient and makes you look incompetent at the same time. ?

Yes, you can change it back to a URL before sending, but not at all ideal. It's not exactly fun when shooting off quick emails.

UPDATE: after updating to 13.2 - Still converts the 1st page of Pdf to an attachment (png) however, it now actually maintains the underlying link. It's strange and confusing. So anyone receiving a URL to a PDF gets an unnecessary attachment, thus obfuscating the actual document linked. And, since there's now an attachment and hidden URL - spam flags will beeuh flyin.

I just feel like preview renders should be done on recipient side (or platform specific...but even this isn't working well on Mac Mail to Mac Mail). Mac Mail to Outlook (PC) is just trash.
I’m about to give up on Apple Mail on desktop. It’s just hot garbage, lacks features and has been behind/buggy for years.
