This has been one of the most consistent deals on the AirPods Pro 2 all year, and is about $5 away from the all-time low price that we last saw in March. Given that we haven't tracked that rare sale again, we definitely recommend jumping on this deal if you've been waiting for a deal on the AirPods Pro 2.

This model of the AirPods Pro can charge via Lightning, Qi, or an Apple Watch charger. We're expecting Apple to introduce a model that adds USB-C charging to the AirPods Pro 2 next week, but it could be a while before those models are discounted.

We track sales for every model of the AirPods in our Best AirPods Deals guide, so be sure to bookmark that page while you shop around for the wireless headphones.

I wouldn't do it. I just bought a pair off Amazon (for $199 when they offered it about a month ago). They came with corrosion damage and Apple thought they may be fake. They wouldn't charge properly and the return process with Amazon has been pretty frustrating and I still haven't gotten my money back. Another issue - the warranty date with Apple isn't the date that you purchased them from Amazon; it's when Amazon purchased them from their bulk wholesale supplier as Amazon is not an official authorized Apple reseller. I ended up biting the bullet and buying full price @ Apple.

Maybe what you bought was not sold by Amazon, but by a 3rd party seller which could mean they're either fake or used/refurbished.

Well, that's simply not true. Amazon is an authorized Apple retailer/reseller ('https://appleinsider.com/deals/apple-authorized-resellers'). This has been the case since their 2018 deal.

If you did buy real AirPods and they were sold and shipped by Amazon, but the warranty start date doesn't match up with your purchase date, you can contact Apple to have them fix it on their end. They'll probably ask for proof (screenshot) of purchase.
