Exactly what I was hoping for. MacOS needs a year of this approach. No crappy new features. More stability and polishing!

Better yet, how about zero new features for the next 5-10 years. During that time, work on nothing but stability issues, completing all the things that are half done or done half-assed. Make the current system a pleasure to use in every way imaginable, which is more or less how it's marketed.

Hopefully this update is not brought to us by CrowdStrike.

[ICODE]This update adds support for using up to two external displays when the laptop lid is closed on 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 chip and also provides important bug fixes and security updates.[/ICODE]

Remember when Apple respected their user base enough to make detailed change logs? I know of many hodgepodge collaborations on Github that do a better job documenting their work for their users.

I respect where you're coming from, but I would gladly take 1-2 years of clean up, then go back to the tick-tock system, one year of features, next year of stability fixes and clean up, then repeat. Business and critical machines can only update every other year, on the more stable release, while everyone else can update every year.

Though, marketing and the money people are running the company now. Everyone who knows what they're doing seem to have little power these days.
