Apple Store in Southeastern U.S. Relocating Later This Week

Apple recently announced that its retail store at the Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, Alabama will be opening in a new location within the outdoor shopping complex on Saturday, August 31, at 10 a.m. local time.

Apple Store Bridge StreetThe original Apple Bridge Street

As noted in Michael Steeber's weekly newsletter about Apple retail, the new store will be located just a few units down from Apple's existing store at Bridge Street Town Centre, next to Athleta. The new location will be significantly larger and have a more modern design compared to the original, which first opened its doors back in 2008.

This will be Apple's first new store opening around the world since the company opened its first store in Malaysia in late June.

“Southeastern US”? Huntsville isn’t a tiny obscure city, they have over 200k people and are one of the fastest growing cities in the US lol

How to tell if an article isn't written by an American:
They say Alabama is "southeastern US"

So is Oklahoma.
As is University of Kentucky.

Who is moving to Alabama? Honest question.
Huntsville has one of the highest percentages of PhDs of any city in the US. The Marshall Space Flight Center is there along with a ton of private space and propulsion research companies. A lot of science research there, in general, too. Tons of jobs available, and lots of people moving in.

I moved to Birmingham in 2014 for a pharamcy position and loved it. It's a blueberry in the tomato soup, as is Huntsville. The state has some amazing parks, swamps, trails, hiking, caving, wildlife, etc. I didn't care for the heat, though, and ended up moving north.

Haha, no kidding! I lived in Birmingham for several years until 2019, and never heard anyone refer to anywhere in the state as southeastern.
Since when is Alabama not in the southeast?

Since when is Alabama not in the southeast?
It's considered the south, or deep south. The Carolinas, Virginia, Florida, those are southeastern.
