It's nice for YouTube and watching sports though. Just for reading it's not ideal. Think I'll try it out since I have until March 7 to return the 13"
For video playback you'll see that its really not much bigger than the 11 inch due to the aspect ratios. Unless you're going full screen but that crops parts of the video off.

Debating if I should return the 13" M4 that I got for $899 for this 11" M5 for $799...the 13" has cellular which I don't use. Feels unwieldy at times as I've always had 11" iPads before this one.
Seems like an easy yes then

Have you tried holding the 13” with two hands and splitting the keyboard in half? That makes it easier to hold and work with, unless one has the MKB.

Apple will give me $605 for my 11 inch M4, I don't mind the fact I'd have to lay out the full cash at Amazon/Costco since I'll use the Apple gift card anyway later on. Just wonder if its worth the $194 (plus tax) to go from M4 to M5 or not.
The M5 will have 12GB of RAM whereas the M4 has 8GB of RAM. I would pay the difference you quoted for more RAM if you to keep the iPad for more than a year.

This is closer to what the true price of these machines should be at all times. It's a good deal. Will be interesting to see how these are priced when the M4 iPad Air comes out. M4 iPad Air will likely be priced at $599. I would argue the $200 premium for the iPad Pro would be worth it over that device (newer chip, better screen, etc). $400 is a bit more of a stretch.
