iOS 27 Mock Quick
The first beta of iOS 27 will be released during WWDC 2026 in June, and the update should be released to all users with a compatible iPhone in September.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that iOS 27 will be similar to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, in the sense that Apple is apparently focused on improving "quality and underlying performance." However, there will still be some new features, with many of them expected to fall under the Apple Intelligence umbrella.

All I want is for the bugs to be fixed and LG to go away.
Fix the existing features before adding more features!

I can't believe people are still complaining about it. It's the most underwhelming and subtle restyling ever. Most people will not even have realised anything changed at all. If there is something to complain about it's that this update was not bold enough, but since it is so minimal there is little to no point to have the option to disable it, as practically nothing would change. I hope iOS 27 brings much bolder changes to the interface.
You’re joking, right?

The white UI flashes alone are driving me me up the wall.

It's the most ... subtle restyling ever.
That's just straight up not true. I've had multiple non-techy friends reach out to me asking if they could turn it off because they legitimately hate how bouncy and shiny everything is now.

I always get some complaints about any change, but this is a whole new thing. iOS 26 adoption numbers compared to uh... every other ****in' year... show that too.
