I’m excited. I think this was one of the better WWDCs. Purely software focused. Solid enhancements. Plus solid dev tooling updates and AFM Framework are both game changers for Apple platform Developers.
Apple literally did nothing relevant in this Keynote.

They put a new coat of paint on a stale operating system that has numerous bugs, and then added a touch here and there that aren't significant features. iOS is slowly becoming an operating system for kids... Just look at the Genmoji feature.

Wanna know what's coming in September? An iPhone that looks exactly the same as last year's.... Except it'll be aluminium, have different color options, a 1% faster chip, and a camera that's .1mm larger in circumference.

The shareholders need to get a grip and can the C-Suite team.

This was WWDC — there was a ton of platform and productivity enhancements for devs that may go unnoticed, but will none-the-less unlock near term app innovations for every day users. That’s the purpose of WWDC and Apple nailed it in this developer’s opinion.

I disagree. Kids don't need call hold or Mac-like windows in iPadOS. Yeah, the Genmoji stuff is dumb. But I think the software is starting to grow again.
I remember when Apple did an OS update that focused on improving the operation of software, not just flashy items. I feel like they are exploring features that matter more to make the devices more useful. It may not be revolutionary but I like the tweaks.
